Recognizing the persistent State of Emergency confronting the African diaspora—a crisis born of systemic inequity, historical disenfranchisement, and unyielding obstacles to self-determination—we pledge our unyielding resolve.

Our Vow of Commitment
We Respond Now. We do not defer, delegate, or delay our duty. This is our covenant to the community and to the future we are building:

We Vow to Be Focused: We shall maintain an absolute and unwavering focus on the identified needs and strategic imperatives of the African American community. Our resources, our efforts, and our intellect will be directed with precision to address this State of Emergency.

We Vow to Be Resilient: We acknowledge that the path to power is challenging. We commit to moving beyond mere survival, embracing resilience, tenacity, and creative problem-solving in the face of all opposition. We will not break faith with our mission.

We Vow to Build Power: We pledge our energies to the collective rise. Our ultimate purpose is to dismantle the barriers that prevent true African American self-determination and to build enduring, independent structures of economic, political, and cultural power that serve the diaspora.

We Vow to Act: We will transform commitment into tangible, verifiable action. Our work will be defined by results, not rhetoric. We are the architects, the builders, and the deliverers of the change our community demands.

By this oath, we declare that our time is now. We are the generation that answers the call. We commit our professional purpose to the liberation and elevation of our people.
